during my trek through the jw's i often heard talks and comments stating how witnesses were humble and meek, unlike the haughty-title loving people of the world especially christendom.
well i just received my 2010 alumni directory that covers everyone who graduated from the two high schools that were part of the district i live in.. so i spent the afternoon parusing its pages when i came across a listing for a guy who is now an elder in the congregation i used to attend.
here is how he describes himself.

Ohhh I have to admit, I hear Brazil amd Ivory Coast fought on the field. Throwing punches and that stuff.... I said there you go, that's it, more of this, and America will love World Cup then you'll see who's the best!!!hahaha

having been out of the organisation for over 4 years and having finally released my kids from the hellish existance that is life as a jw, it struck me today how enjoyable our weekends are in comparison to when we were jw's.. the weekends are vital for us just now.
my wife doesn't work but i work full time from very early in the morning.
i don't get to see my beutiful children in the morning during the week.
It's 3pm on a Sunday in shorts insted of a suit leaving the afternoon meeting only to take off my suit and secretly say "I hate Sundays, that was not relaxing."
i asked an elder this question once and never got a response back.. as jw's know, only jesus could take adam's place, ect, ect, because he's perfect like adam.

well then if jesus wasn't put to death, he would have lived for ever since he was perfect.. is this farfetched or plausible?
he had a "prehuman existance". This alone eliminates any level playing field between Jesus and Adam
I totally agree on this thought. I alway said if Jesus was to take Adam's place then Jesus should have stayed DEAD! Adam gets no resurrection which should mean Jesus gets the same. That is Sacrifice, not die and 3 days later (human time) come back, and as we all know a day for Jah is a 1000 years for humans. So how long was Jesus dead for then in God's eyes?

Imagine if Jesus had actually been alive in the flesh for the past 2000 years. What better proof of god's existence and power could there have been?
